ATX Sports – Putting Safe, Quality Football Gear on Every Kid Who Wants to Play

Because cost should never bench a child. Our nonprofit provides protective football equipment so more kids can learn, grow, and belong on the field.

Why Youth Football & What It Costs

Football builds more than athletes.
Youth football teaches teamwork, discipline, resilience, confidence, leadership, and accountability. Kids learn how to set goals, work hard, handle adversity, and support each other—lessons that carry well beyond the season.

The problem: quality gear is expensive.

To play safely, families are often asked to buy protective equipment that adds up fast:

Helmet (certified): $250–$350
Shoulder pads: $150–$250
Cleats: $40–$100
Practice pants w/ pads or girdle set: $35–$80
Mouthguard & chinstrap: $10–$30
Practice jersey/socks/bag & misc.: $50–$100

Typical total: about $700–$800 per player, with the helmet and shoulder pads alone accounting for nearly $400 - $600.

Our goal: provide quality, protective equipment so cost never keeps a kid from playing.

Who Receives the Gear

Partner Program: Legacy Longhorns (Cedar Park, TX)
We proudly support the Legacy Longhorns, a local nonprofit youth football and cheer organization in Cedar Park. About 30% of their players are on full scholarship, and our donations help ensure every athlete can take the field with confidence and proper protection.

How to DONATE

Donations are accepted year-round.
We gratefully accept new or gently used football equipment, including:

Helmets, shoulder pads, and cleats
Pants with pads or girdles, mouthguards (new only), chinstraps, practice jerseys, bags, and other useful gear

Monetary gifts are also welcome and used exclusively to purchase safe, properly fitting equipment for kids. Every dollar goes directly to these athletes.
